I did some looking for this as well, as I have a 93 LT1 I was planning on putting in my 240. There's some good general information here: http://www.speeddensity.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1045 they also have some connections w/ programmers on the main page forums. if you're looking for equipment, I saw somewhere to check out http://www.moates.net (programmers, chips, software and realtime PRom emulators) for masks for your selected proms, check out: http://www.tunercat.com/tnr_desc/do_tc.html that should list the hexidecimal mask you need for programming and reading your chips correctly. Hope that helped you out some.

Besides those, there's also http://www.diy-efi.org/gmecm/, which has masks and .bins for most C3 and many P4 ecus. Freeby monitoring software (and very good, too) at http://tunerpro.markmansur.com/. Depending on what ECU you have, most everything except the chip burner (or emulator, as on Moates) is fairly cheap (or free). What hardware are you talking about?
