Guest zfan
I am currently driving a 383 powered 240Z. The brakes are mediocre, I hace stock rear drums and stock front rotors with Toyota 4 piston calipers.. I also upgraded to the braided steel lines all around. I am starting the brake upgrade this next week. My list is as follows: Up front: 240 hubs 300zx vented rotors Toyota 4 runner calipers spacers braided steel lines Back: 200sx calipers 300zx rotors braided steel lines 28zx master cylinder Am I missing anything? And if so what. It seemed to me someone mentioned a way to upgrade the back end/hubs if your putting alot of power to the ground as the 240's are weak back there? Thanks for any and all info. Guest zfan
Forgot to mention I also am using the 82-83 Maxima brackets out back. Thank God they are easy to find! Mike
Drax240z
280z stub axles are marginally stronger and you might want to switch to them at the same time. Should be lots of info available on search if you want specifics.
Guest zfan
Thanks for the info on the stub axles, I will be sure and do that. I have a question for those who have done the Modern Motorsport rear disc upgrade. I am ordering the brackets and e-brake kit. I already have the rotors and 240Sx calipers off a 1993 240SX. What did you do for the brake lines, I noticed the line that runs into the calipers are way different than the ones on my drums. I have the steel braided lines as well. Do they sell different types of fittings for the for the new brake lines? I know I said I was doing the 200sx/300z/maxima combo but good luck in finding the brackets. Courtesy Nissan sells them for 110.00 a pair but I figured for that I might as well do the 240Sx upgrade with Ross's brackets. Mike
