Guest greimann
On a weekend house project trip to the hardware store, I was shocked to see that they (the state) has eliminated solvent based contact cement, leaving the waterbased crapola as your only chioce. Well that just sucks, I almost ruined a project becuase that water based junk just doesn't work the same. Does anyone have a line on what the state (or feds)is going to take away from us next? Man, if laquer thinner is on the list, I'm going to invest in a 55 gal drum of that stuff.
DavyZ
That bites. I swear more of the good stuff (working stuff) leaves our hands each day. Crapola--nice ring to it; descriptive. Davy
Guest nezzie76
Come live in Oregon. It seems like there aren't any enviromental laws here. There still aren't any emission laws (knock on wood) except in Portland.
DavyZ
And I thought they were just being nice! I was there a few years ago and they would not let me pump the gas--I told them to lay off and let me do it because I wasn't paying for 'full serve.' They thought I was either stupid or from out of state (either is believable) Davy
Guest Locutus
There aren't, the last time I was in Oregon they wouldn't let you pump your own gas. Of course this was in 99 Mike
