EZ-E
me to lose fuel in the upper end. I have had a leaky turbo which now seems to be leaking much worse now and making a very big mess. Well as Im out to fry it in a way, I was playing a bit tonight and noticed that under boost, my fuel seems to drop off at about 4500 rpms. I start to feel a loss of power as well. Would this be from the fact that my turbo is spitting oil out into the intake and then well into the combustion chamber?
EZ-E
Another thought that I had as the turbo is going out on its last leg, though it still boosts well, would the fact that it is spitting oil throgh the compressor seal, would that cause any type of surging or reduction in power. It didnt have this problem last year, well while it was still warm. I guess after 195k of service the stock turbo is finally meeting its demise perhaps. I guess you cannot complain about that. EZ-E
Well Im sure its the turbo now, if I dont go into full boost it will easily go past 4200 rpms without hesitation. Guess Im out to buy a new one now:D
