TomoHawk Posted April 4, 2005 Share Posted April 4, 2005 I'm probably going to take the centre console out of my car, and maybe store it to reinstall for shows. Instead, I think I would like to mount a fire extinguisher in its place ( using the three screws that hold the console down). Not that I think I will be using it!! lol I would make an aluminum plate with strap to hold the fire extinguisher. What should I get? 5BCF, right? Do they still make Halon units big enough for a car? I found a website to a place that makes a water-base unit. Guest Carolina Z Posted April 6, 2005 Share Posted April 6, 2005 I have a multi purpose extinguisher that I got from a friend that has them in all of his service vehicles. Mounted it right in the middle of the seats on the rear deck just past the crome trim piece. Easy to grab from there from the drivers seat if god forbid I ever need it.
