titanium
I've been looking at both of these as options right now. I did a search of Turboing the SBC and I cant find anything on people doing this with a stock bottom end. I'm not one to drive my cars lightly so the thought of TTing my stock cast 350 scares me a bit. Seeing the GNX Z on these forums running a 10.08 on a stock motor makes me think this might be a good choice. My 240z already has the JTR swap done on it, I'm wondering how much more work would be involved with installing the GNX motor. Matt73GNZ I'm looking at you on this one . I've got roughly a 5k to work with not including how much I could sell my 350 motor and transmission for. Any help is greatly appreciated. CruxGNZ
Here, read this So You Want A 3.8 Turbo Z Car Personaly, I would build up a small block Chevy on the side, while you're still driving your car. Read up and build the engine right for turbocharging. When the time comes, swap engines, then sell the stock engine. Don't forget, with more power, you will need to upgrade things like: brakes, chassis, differential, halfshafts, stub axles, transmission, fuel system, ect. Twin Turbo 350 V-8 sounds cool, but it's not cheap. !M!
