Guest tejas74260
hey ya'll upon researching for a future sr20det swap in my z, i've been looking for an inexpensive intercooler to use on the stock motor (yes i know you get what you pay for). but with a stock s14 motor with the stock t28 turbo, would this intercooler get the job done? it's a megan unit (not sure if its a knock-off brand) and is said to flow up to 750 CFM, heres the measurements: Total width: 22" core width: 19.7" Height: 11.75" core thickness: 3" inlet diameter: 2.75" outlet diameter: 3" im thinking the inlet/outlet diameters are a little big for a stock turbo sr20 at 15psi, but would ya'll recommend that i either use step-down silicone clamps or have someone weld in a smaller fitting for the pipe? anyway, let me know what ya'll think. jkube
I was looking at this same intercooler for my 240z turbo project. From what I can figure it should fit well in the area in front of the rad. Keep us posted if you decide to buy it. http://www.execulink.com/~jkube/Mainpage_lethalzs.html
