Guest rick458 Posted May 4, 2005 Share Posted May 4, 2005 Been working on the 260 finishing an Arizona Z Car/ Holley 390 conversion and when I rev the motor it sounds like the revs are too low as indicated by the Tachometer, its reading 3500 and the motor is screaming, low idle seems right at 750-800 rpm. What is the best way to confirm the rpms. Also the anti vaporlock booster fuel pump is not coming on (as it should above 400 rpms) there is some wierd wiring by the gas tank and the previos owner is a Nasa engineerso I am not sure what is going on there (yet).
