Guest Pegasus76
Ok, so here's what happened...I'm changing out my exhaust, just replacing it with a newer stock exhaust...Well, the bolts were rusted on TIGHT and they broke off in 2 places, the catalytic converter and the tip of the exhaust manifold where the flange connects to it (if any of you remember the stock exahust, the flange and the tip of the exhaust manifold have 3 holes Kind looks like this ----> O O O Well, anyway...Bolts broke off in the left hole and the middle hole. I was wondering if you guys new the easiest way to get them out...Would drilling be the easiest way or should I just take it to a shop to have them just punch it out really quick? If you guys have any suggestions I would appreciate it greatly! I miss driving my ZX Pegasus
EZ-E
You could drill and if you have a torch heat it up nicely and try an easy out to see if you can get it out. If you cannot then I would say to drill it out and retap with a stud instead if you can and go from there. The local shop around here charges only 5 buck per bolt to remove. So you might just want to do that instead, if its not to much trouble. Good luck
