Guest RunninOnEmpty
I just took a look at the exhaust manifolds on my 04 GMC with a 6.0 Vortac. The exhaust exits to the rear on both sides and hugs the block tightly. These manifolds look as though they might easily clear the power steering on models such as my 81ZX N/A. Hope this helps. ezzzzzzz
The truck exhaust manifolds (for sure on the drivers side) sit out wider than the F-body types to clear the front driveshaft on 4x4 applications. The F-body would work well. I'm using Corvette manifolds on a project because they drop down near center and tighter to the block.
Here comes trouble
Rams horn manifolds that used to go for scrap price apparently have joined the mystique of collectible prices around $50.00.. By the time they are machined.. you have got the price of good block huggers. cast iron does have it's advantages.. Are the Vortec'c castiron ??????
