kickinback88 Posted July 5, 2005 Share Posted July 5, 2005 hey. my name is ryan, and this is my first post. i have chosen a 455 olds for my hybrid, as i have a 68 toro 455 lying around needing a good home (and my wife would kill me if i pulled the lt1 out of the roadmaster i just bought!!!). if anyone has olds engine questions other than how to install (hoping for help on that one, lol) i know these motors well. that aside, i want to use mcleod ind. modular bellhousing to put a t56 in it. however, i dont know which to use, considering shifter location. id appreciate any help/recommendations by those of you who have already made the swap. as for pland for the car, dual quad efi, custom comp cam, aluminun heads (and anything else i can get away with), 10:1 comp, side pipes, headlight covers, g nose, nexxus guages, and a slew of other go fast gadgets. also, what are the widest tires you can fit in the rear of the car. im expecting around 600 lb/ft of torque, i'll be in desperate need of traction! -ryan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
