Guest Blazer406
I have decided to abandon my TT SBC 240Z project. Hopefully someone else will want to purchase all or some of my parts for their project. http://classifieds.hybridz.org/showproduct.php?product=1075&sort=1&cat=19&page=1 Reason: I purchased a theft recovery '87 Buick Grand National and am in the process of restoring it..... and need the funds. I am not financially able to do two projects at once. I really wanted to do the TT 240 because it is so light. It shouldn't take much more than 500 HP (at the tires) to get one of the early Z-Cars to go 9's in the quarter... if it hooks. This is what originally got me fired up about doing a Hybrid Z. Scottie-GNZ
Sorry to hear about the TT V8 Z project but a GN is not a bad replacement. be sure to come hang out at http://www.turbobuicks.com I really wanted to do the TT 240 because it is so light. Mine hooked and probably better than most will allowing me to go 10.08 @ 134.44 with an estimated 520rwhp calculated from the ET/MPH/weight (2750# w/driver). Will probably take about 535rwhp to go 9.95 with the same weight and if it does not hook, probably another 20hp.

Went to the Buick GS NATS in about '95...... Always wanted one of these cars..... now I finally have one. I hope to make my GN a daily (well ... almost daily) driver capable of deep in the 11 second range in full street trim .... and somewhere in the high 10 second range with good tires...... Planned upgrades are exhaust (but keeping factory manifolds).... turbo....intercooler.....MAF/MAF pipe.... cold air.... alcohol injection.......injector upgrade.....chip upgrade.....valve springs......fuel pump....etc.... Already done the fuel pump.... fixing to do the valve springs.... and cold air stuff.... and new downpipe with test pipe....
