Phyxius Posted July 27, 2005 Share Posted July 27, 2005 I have a kawasaki motorcycle who's engine has a 10.8:1 compression ratio, and the owners manual says to run 87 octane. I was wondering how this works when we have to have premium to run much lower compression than that. They must have an awesome combustion chamber design in these motors.
