Guest comeandzpa
Took a trip to one of the Nissan dealers in my area to check out the new Z today. I have to say that I was impressed with what I saw. It really does look much nicer in person than the pictures let on. There are some subtle hints of Z32 styling throughout the car. Interior is very nice and uncluttered, though there are a few things I dont like: 1st, the cupholders are more or less BEHIND the seats, not where they are easily reached; 2nd, there is no true glovebox, just a lot of smaller cubby holes spread through the interior; this is fine as long as you dont have any large objects to store. The magazines all complained about the rear strut brace severely inhibiting rearward view. I would say that its just the fact that the rear window is so small and high up that limits rear visability. While I was looking at the car, a man with a 240Z came in to buy one, and he agrees w/ me on most of these points. It really looks worthwhile, though I think that I could do w/o the $7000 of equipment, a base model would suit me just fine. I am hoping that my dad and I (still under 18, so no test drive for ME) will be able to test it out later this week, so stay tuned!
spotfitz
Thats funny. Here in Texas, or atleast in the D/FW area, I have yet to have a test drive. Even at Courtesy. They said, "no test drive except for buyers". What a crock! I atleast want to drive the damn thing fefore I drop 30 large for one!
Guest zfan
I agree. I would want to drive the car to see if it's a fit for 30+ large! Mike
