Guest crackerasscracker Posted August 12, 2005 Share Posted August 12, 2005 got a 5 speed out of a 77 put it in my 76 when i drive it it leaks oil out of the rear when i stop.i repleaced the seal, the input shaft looked great and it still does the same thing.somebody told me that the vent might be clogged. any body seen this before and have any ideas how to fix it? Seems like the place to start.Does it do it all the time lwhen sitting too? or just when it gets hot while being driven?Maybe you put too much fluid in it?
