couple questions on a soon to be hybrid

Ok, well this is one place i will admit i am a noob, not to cars, but to hybid v8 swaped cars.

So I recently found an '81 280zx i am buying for 800 bucks with just a locked up rear brake, I'm planning on getting a new caliper (and SS lines while im at it) and flushing the entire system and adding new brake pads, so if anyone has suggestions on what to pick up let me know,

 

otherwise ive decided to do the v8 swap, because its seeming hard to find an LS1 im looking at alternetives, i would like lt1 because of the fuel injection but if I got a SBC carbed 350 from an older camero i could drop on a blower and that would be ideal.

but with the carbed option im affraid i will lose emissions "friendliness"

 

Now on another note i wish to be road track friendly so suspension upgrades are a must, being i will have a heavier engine should i do something different like stiffer springs up front, or a coil over setup so i can slightly raise the front to transfer a little more weight to the back tires? any suggetions would help as much as possible
