badjuju
at 3250 rpm (looks to be exactly that) my car starts buzzing inside the drivers compartment. from right around where the glove compartment is. i get the fuel light coming on, the door light coming on, and the brake light coming on. no performance drop from what i can tell, just an irritating noise. it also turns my signals off. after i turn off and restart the car, the noise goes away until 3250, but my turning signals are still off. they turn on sporatically, so long as i haven't taken her above 3250. hazards still work, but turning signals are a no go. my friend thinks it could be my alternator regulator or something like that, like it's over powering my electronics at a certain rpm. any idears? VRJoe
Check your ground wires. It sounds like harmonic vibrations. Check tire balance and alignment. See if you can pin down where the buzz comes from and add some padding there. Check your wiring diagram and see where the common ground is for the lights and signals, that would be the place to start checking the ground wires. - Joe
