Hi Everyone. I've just discovered this forum and thought for a minute I'd died and gone to heaven! I have a '71 240 I've got an '94 LT1 Camaro motor and just purchased a Warner T56. I'm confused about the flywheel/clutch combination I can use. Can someone tell me what my options are? Internally/externally balanced?; 153/168 tooth?; 11"/10.5"?; McLeod? Centerforce? I have 2 R200, one is 3.90:1 with Universal half-shafts, the other is 3,54:1 with CVs. Any information or advice would be muchly appreciated. Sorry for the LOOONNNGG post!

I believe you want the smaller flywheel of the two. Since it's an LT1 Camaro motor try looking at some of th eads tailored for those cars. Chevy Hi-Po always has stuff in there and Escessive Motorsports usually sells tons of parts for those cars - including a nice dual friction clutch setup. Mikelly is running one of these, I'm going to try the stock clutch myself to see how it works out in such a light car but if it slips I'll be looking at the Centerforce too. Figure about $500 or so for the clutch and pressure plate I think....
