Guest 240Zdragon72
I am putting a '82 Turbo into my '73 240Z. I need some help on what to disguard on the intake manifold and what to keep. If you have kept the turbo intake on your engine and installed it into a 240Z, please pm or reply to my post. I will include pictures of what it looks like now in my gallery. thehelix112
http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18689 Basically depends what you HAVE to keep. If you need mech throttle, must keep towers. If you have std EFI, must keep most of the crap. If you have aftermarket EFI, rip it down to a complete bare manifold, then take lines off where you need them (MAP sensor, fuel pressure reg, BOV, brake booster, wastegate line, air temp sensor) and plug everything else.
