Guest creedjr Posted September 14, 2005 Share Posted September 14, 2005 hello all i have a 1973 240z with a 1969 corvette stroked lt1 engine in it. 700r4. has wilwood 12" disc all around r200 with 3.90 ratio. full roll cage, dash taken out and had custom aluminum dash with gauges. still have to fix rear end? driveline? at 70mph and up a weird noise only when coasting,like the ujoint is hitting something. have to check out vibration through steering wheel over 65 also.. i have had it out on the road and is just wicked fast. any help with these problems? v8dats Posted September 14, 2005 Share Posted September 14, 2005 wow sounds like a cool car. im sure that the word SEARCH will come up and some people take it the wrong way. i would deffinately start with the joints if they are the originals and maybe think about a cv swap.check out the drive train section. check out the diff and all the bushings make sure that there is fluid in it. welcome to hybridz! oh yeah....POST PICS of this car!!heheh . . .juan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
