TheNeedForZ
Hi, I used the search function but apparently the search engine doesn't like the term "2+2" so I can't get results. I am planning a turbo swap into a 280Z and there's a guy selling his 280ZX turbo 2+2. I am wondering if there's any difference between a ZXT swap and a ZXT 2+2 swap. Also, the 2+2 is automatic, but I will use the original 4-speed MT on my 280Z. Will the automatic ZXT 2+2 parts drop in like the ZXT parts? Any difference? Thanks[/quote'] Just make sure you take the spacer off the crank before you put your M/T flywheel on, otherwise the starter won't engage. You should also consider getting a 240mm flywheel and clutch from a turbo car, 2+2, or mid 80's nissan truck, if you haven't already.
