steven_esworthy
Just got home(abilene, tx) from dallas picking up a 96 lt1 with 40k on it. Last week got my freshly rebuilt 4l60e delivered, im almost ready to start wrenchin'. I am going to be using a 95 computer and a TCI computer to run the tranny(and twist machine shifters). I will be posting my millions of questions that will surely pop up(have jtr manual) and will be beating the crap out of the search function. If anybody has any experiences to share, let me know. love-my-V8-280Z
Steve, Good luck! Make sure you take it slow and enjoy the upgrade. I have installed a 95 LT1 into my 280Z and have it running. I would be glad to give advise if you need it. Save my email address- steenhagen at charter dot net I just need some more cash to keep this project moving.... 280zwitha383
I just need some more cash to keep this project moving.... For 95% of us I think that's a given.....
steven_esworthy
Steve' date='I just need some more cash to keep this project moving....[/quote'] Yes, if you have any extra I could also use some. I have been searching the archives and have had some trouble finding out a real good solution to removing the p/s and a/c. I do not have the power steering pump so I can not gut it and turn it into a pulley and I certinly do not want to spend as much as I paid for the engine on some brackets, so what options do I have for the alternator belt? Thanks
Dan Juday
If you are as creative as Terry you can make your own brackets (props to Terry). Otherwise I'd say pick up a junk yard pump and gut it. You now have the advantage of a cheap A/C bracket as well. Check resent threads.
