Guest bastaad525 Posted October 23, 2005 Share Posted October 23, 2005 the only thing I don't do on my cars is bleed brakes, I HATE and I mean HATE bleeding brakes. Lord am I with you on this one... when I was having all those problems with my brakes a few months ago.... bled them several times, then went out and bought a vacuum bleeder... then finally just gave up and took it to Midas. I'll never bleed brakes again... my back pain wasn't worth the $30. Oh and oil changes... yeah living in an apartment and not really having a good place to do it, lately I will take it to a shop... not Jiffy Lube, rather, some small shop that will put it on a lift so I can see what they are doing. I bring my own oil and filter, they charge me $15. oh and I get a good opportunity to check out the underside of the car really well w/o laying on my back, make sure everything is in order.
