Guest the_dj
Here are a BUNCH of stories: 1) Austin, TX: went to a car gathering, ended up trying to race a nice LS1 T/A with exhaust and other minor mods. Handed me my butt as I spun tires on the starting line. Turned out there was a cop a few cars back but he didn't do anything. 2) Houston, TX: I was on I10 headed in to town and I spy a riced out Integra, red stickerprice with white rims and no exhaust. He falls back to about 3 cars behind my back bumper, sits for a bit, then downshifts and shoots by and waves like he beat me. I'm like WTF?? Then he gets next to me, waits a bit, then downshifts again. I gave him the jump, then hit third and pulled a half car up to make us even. 4th gear got my rear bumper up to his front bumper. So I got 1.5 cars in a run from 55 to 100. We got to stop go traffic and were stopped, rolled down the window and ask him what on earth he has to run with me like that. He says he's stock but he removed the exhaust. Turned to my friend who was with me and we were like BS! BS! We then realized we had both separately run this guy and he SCHOOLED my '82 ZX n/a and my friends 91 ZX n/a. I think there was a nice size hole in his windshield for his nose to stick through when he was talking about his car... 3) Celica GT sits about 4 cars back from me, then ricer flys by and shoots off into the distance...prolly went to tell people how he beat an old funny looking car. 4) I was on I10 headed away from Houston and spy the lights of an LS1 camaro coming up on my right. As he gets near I accelerate and downshift to 5th to pace next to him. Turns out it was a brand new SS with a guy in his early 20's driving. I followed him for a couple miles, then he exits. I followed him and he went into a neighborhood and I was like ok..... So after a bit of circle going in the neighborhood I turn to go out the way I came in (said screw following him). I see him on the way out. He had gone into the neighborhood to get away (am I scary or something???) Rolled down the window and asked if he wanted to run. Said "I can't now I'm busy." I'm like "not now, just if we see each other again". His reply gave me a coooooool feeling: "Um no. My car's stock I haven't done anything to it." LOL. Brand new SS Camaro wouldn't race cause he was scared. Sam
