Guest Jason84NA-T
As you may or may not know, there are not too many options left in terms of bolt-on performance suspension components for the Z31 chassies. All of the (4) currently available drop-in springs are as soft or softer than the 88SS springs, and most of the dampers are pretty weak in the valving department. Short of custom-valved koni's and custom springs for drop-in installation, there's just not much out there to seriously make the car handle to its potential. I've progressively moved up in the suspension department, starting with stock, then tokico blues, then adding eibach springs. I ditched that setup in favor of Illuminas and 88SS springs and then added the Nismo front swaybar about the time I did the complete poly bushing install and Z32-style tension rod conversion. Recently I found a long-discontinued Koni swaybar set that added to the combination. At that point, with it pulling over a G on the skidpad with AVS intermediate rubber, it was probably enough for most people. Obviously I'm not like most people. Anyway, S13 coilovers can be made to fit the Z31. I'll put a write-up on my website eventually, but for now the information and pictures can be found in the following links: Front: http://z31.com/board/read.php3?id=23965 Rear: http://z31.com/board/read.php3?id=18119&srf=nein
