Guest Anonymous
It has been a beautiful NC spring morning. I had some running around to do so I took the Z. Brother called and we meet at the local BBQ joint. He shows up in his 97 m-3. Beautiful car, fast, handels great, very civilized car. Room for 4 adults if two are double amputees. Time to leave, so I follow him out of the parking lot down the four lane. Of course he is all over the M car. I get on the Z and just about run over him several times. I talk to him later and he says he felt like I was going to punch out his tail lights a few times. Funny thing is I still had some left. Traffic would not let me open it up. Brad if you read this, I'm not dissing your car, you know I almost bought it. I love my Z. Mark 73 240-Z with 93 Lt-1 and t-
tdab
Mark, You the man. M3's are sweet rides, but not even close to what you have. There is a guy in Rock Hill that has a LT1/T56 combo he wants to sell for $1700. I may jump on it. Its in a '95 camaro. I'm going to check it out soon. Hopefully hear it run. The deal sounds too good. Thats why I'm a little skeptical. What should I be looking for when I check it out? tom
Guest Anonymous
Go check it out, If it has every thing there, that is computer, wiring harness, accessories, shifter, clutch, slave cylinder, etc go ahead and buy it. Even if you have to put some cash in to it, it would sitll be a good deal. Check mileage and hear it run if you can. If you decide not to get it let me know, I could always use a spare! Good luck, Mark
jt1
Nice story, Mark. I went to a track day at kershaw a month or so ago and the NC BMW club was there. Several of them had M-3's and they were REALLY PISSED when my lowly 240Z would blow them off badly. I have a lot of respect for the M-3's though, they are really nice cars. Glad to hear you got your engine fixed. I bought David Spillman's car a while back and he has spoken highly of you several times. David and I are good friends, we racquetball and talk cars a lot. Let me know if you're going to kershaw some time, I'd like to meet up and check out your car. John
Guest Anonymous
John, Just got back from Kershaw tonight. Track day. What a blast. Mostly BMW's and porshes' mostly in my rear view. I've got a great pic of me going buy a new M-3. The guy could not stand getting beat by a 30 year old car. Did you have David's old car out there? Very quick car. Also very nice looking Z.
