Since the LT1 is less expensive I'll probably be looking for one of those. Also now that I know it wont kill my handling, I feel much better by going the cheaper route. I dont doubt the power of any of my v8 options, I'm sure I can get by with an LT1. It is, afterall, a v8.. endless potential I'm sure. Well, more potential than I'll ever expect to need. VinhZXT Posted November 10, 2005 Share Posted November 10, 2005 I would like to see you go with the LS1 swap because of the potentials of the motor and plus noone has done it. I also suggest you to make your own mounts. The ZX's crossmember is sitting a little further back compare to the Z's crossmember. This will basically allow your engine mounts sit right over the ZX's crossmember. This should be really easy to custom make the mounts.
