Corvette LS-1 T56 Tranny- isnt it rearmount???

Just a thought, but i thought that the T56 in late year corvettes had a rear mounting transmition, maybe this is true for all the T56s, but im thinking about this conversion, and was just wondering.....thanks for the input.

 

ps. if you know where to get the combination cheap, let me know

yes, the tranny is in the rear on a c5 - but it's not on an f-body. makes things much simpler.
