karay240
cosidering the weight difference b/w the 240Z and the S2K, I think that the swap would be VERY cool. Lightweight overcomes the lack of lowend torque. (to an extent, of course) Even if you don't S/C it, I think it'll haul.
Guest ON3GO
this swap will still be done, im planning on it as ASAP... might stay n/a to the tune of about 270whp or turbo/sc it. mike
240zwannabe
if i were you i would find a turbo that would start spooling at about 3500rpm and quit right before Vtec kicks in, the Vtec wouldnt be as powerful as the turbo but your still getting some good haul a$$
Guest ON3GO
why quit before VTEC? VTEC with boost is awesome. real rush. i would do vtec killer cams anyways so VTEC all the time, its just not the best thing to do with a FI car. i figure ill talk to a few cam companys and see what they say if i deside to go with FI. mike

AK-Z
Would deffinitely be a first. I like it. I would like to adapt a s2k dash in my 280z. I've read that the dash will drop in almost any honda with a little bit of wiring.
Guest ON3GO
i have a full S2K dash, center console, seats, and everything else to make a S2K Z.. i just gotta find the cash to make it happen. im still planning on doing this swap, i have everything to do it really. i deff want to turbocharge it too .. been reading up on it and 400whp high strung 8K+ turbo'ed Z would be badass.. mike

Might want to figure out how to calibrate the speedo setting depending on whether you car using the Z diff or the s2k diff. If you happen to find another s2k instrument cluster, let me know:mrgreen:
Guest ON3GO
will do. diff will be a C4 IRS, atleast thats what i want . ya i have NO clue what ill do about the speedo, just gotta figure that stuff out. engine mounts i think will be simple, tranny also.. i have a place that can do the driveshaft in 2 days.. just drop it off with how short or long i need it and they will do it, or bring them the car and etc and walah.. mike
AK-Z
Found an adjustable speedo sender. Its descibed as "universal" but you know with these thing, that could mean anything. here http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/programmable_electric_speedo_senders/5291/
