Question on stroker w/ 3.875 crank

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, cubes are why I'm here today. I've been looking around for 383 rotating assemblies and the 3.875 crank keeps making me curious, either for a 395 or 401. I remember grumpy talking about these in old posts on building strokers, what I am looking for is some info if anyone can help. With a 3.875 crank and 6" rods, does anyone know which piston I could use to get between 9.5 and 9.8 compression with 70cc heads? I don't plan to build for monster HP, something streetable that will only rev to 5500rpm or so. Any help or recommendations on rotating assembly component choice is much appreciated. Thanks!
