spork
Well, last saturday night I was out cruising with my buddies and there turbo cars (mk3 supra,2nd gen eclipse, spirit R/T, and a 94 integra[with turbo kit]) and we'd just finished throwing a new motor in tranny in the integra as he'd blown them both up earlier this summer. Anyways since my buddies integra is pretty fast and I'd never won against him in a race and I'd done some more mods since then and I happened to be running my drag strip setup (around 95 octane with 18-19psi of boost). Well, I never got around to racing him since we discovered a loose timing belt but instead while we're watching a bunch of guys racing outside of town a blue 2000 vette shows up. One of my buddies invited him as he's a neighbor...anyways, before long my buddies get me into a race with him. We lined up, the hands drop and he got the jump on me as my tires went up at smoke. I hit my rev-limiter before I made it even 10ft off the line due to tire spin so I shoved it in second...spun like made, but caught up about even to the vette. From there things were over for him as I pulled on him in both 3rd and 4th and had about a car on him by the time the 1/4 was up. It feels so good to beat up on a $50,000 car...lol. Kevin Shasteen
Good kill Spork. It must be a good (SMUG) feeling to know you built your car yourself & have so much less invested than the Vette owner: as you are passing him on by. Poor, poor Vette owner Kevin, (Yea,Still an Inliner)
