Guest jwwatters
I've done the search and got a lot of valuble information, however I remain a little confused.I'm putting a ZZ4 and T56 in a 73 240,the T56 is a 1996 model and has the original bellhousing and it mates to the engine fine.My question is do I need the weir bellhousing or can I use the one I have? What flywheel and clutch do I use if I use orginal bellhousing? Also does anyone plan on making a scattershield for this set-up?One thing I forgot to mention is the ZZ4 has the one piece rear seal.thanks in advance
fastzcars
Yes you can use your bellhousing ,but I'm pretty sure you have to get the flywheel and clutch assembly from a LT1 engine car. I think they are from 93 to 96-97 year car's like the camero,trans-am. As well as the hydrolic slave cylinder and hose. Try a search on "T56" there should be a writeup here from Mikelly.
