Actually, it is me getting crosseyed mad b/c for a while now, the driver's door won't open from the outside (it's fine from the inside), so I'm having to enter the car from the passenger side and open the driver's door! This is an 83 280ZXT 2 plus 2. My local idiot mechanic said it might be the rubber grommit that is on the door pin, but I tried Home Depot rubber or plastic replacements, and it didn't do anything. AutoZone said I'm going to need a whole new door latch. The most I can get is leaving the window down an inch, or the interior light blinks on every failed attempt, as if to tease me...every so often I can pry the door open, but I don't understand what's at fault that it opens so smoothly every time from the INSIDE!
