I found a STRAIGHT '73 for $500. I am buying it. It has had the exterior body work done to it but it still has some rust under the car. It is at a body shop here locally. The shop owner bought it for his son 5 years ago. He had one of his employees do the bodywork. He checked into the insurance and it was going to cost too much to insure it on a 16 year old, so he let it set. The air cleaner is off the car and the tires are ALL flat. The interior is clean and complete. He said it wasn't that rusty when he got it, now the back bumper is rusty and the paint is in poor condition. Plus getting it to run will likely take a too much hassle, so it's a Hybrid candidate.

The other one is also at a body shop. I don't know a single thing about it other than:

My brother told me about this 280Z that was near by at a body shop. Yesterday we went by there to see if it was maybe forsale or something. The first thing we see when we pull up is a Bronco II sitting on its belly with no chassis under it. We drove around the building and low and behold, theres a super clean(ALL body work done, and almost ready for priming) 240Z in the fenced lot. My brother says, that's not the one he saw before, the other one was Ice blue. The shop is closed so we go around and look in the shop window. The 280 he had seen is sitting a few feet above the Bronco II chassis. THEY ARE BUILDING A 4x4 280Z. I just shook my head and left. I told him about the one that we all have seen on the internet around here. Well anyway thats my Z story of the week
