Z Driver
I finally got around to putting in the turbo engine I bought for my ZX. My problems lies in I do not have the bolts that hold the engine mounting brackets to the engine mount insulators. The body shop pulled the old engine and didn't bother saving those blots. That shop is now out of business and I do not have the proper hardware to secure this engine anymore. I found some bolts that threaded in around the garage, but they are far too weak to use. I was wondering if anybody could measure the proper bolt size and grade for a 280ZX. I'm not talking about the four bolts that hold the bracket to the block; it's the four bolts that hold the bracket to the mount on the crossmember. Thank you. 240hoke
I believe those are 8mmx1.25 metric bolts. Same as all the suspension bolts. You can get grade 5 equivalent at lowes or home depot i think in metric thats 8.8 or something i dunno. Anyway im my opinion you should be fine with those.
