Zfreak Posted February 3, 2001 Share Posted February 3, 2001 Hi Guys, I started fabricating the hood latch as described in the JTR manual, but I am looking for something I don't have to remove. I like Pete's latch but I have permanent strut tower braces that prevent me from using that design. Guest Anonymous Posted February 8, 2001 Share Posted February 8, 2001 hey tbuck, i did the jtr conversion on the hood latch and decided that i didn't like it either. after asking all the great mids here on hybridz i went with the hood pins also. if you do a search for hood pins on here you will see all the different pictures of everyones hood pins and i went with the conversion of sticking them where the bumper mounts at the top of the hood go. they hold really well and i feel more secure with them than the hood latch. later, chris Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
