Turbo280Z
ok after i wired it back in the car only sparks when it wants to. before it was running pretty good. if i pick the dizzy u and spin it it sparks but when i crank it it doesnt sometimes. i made sure the connections were good and it sparks when it wants to. the harness from the main harness to the dizzy was pretty messed up so i wired in new wires and now thats what happens. could my CAS be goin bad? or should i jus replace the harness? does anyone know if a z31 CAS will work in the 280 dizzy? has anyone tried? The only difference are the disks...so if you swap them you should be OK.

Zraced...
The sensor is the same the disk in the z31 has a larger slot for the TDC reference...the sensor can be swapped from either dizzy.

TheNeedForZ
yea i know but the disc is sposed to be a upgrade for the 280 or so ive herd People put Z31 disk in their L28et dizzy because they upgrade to Z31T ECU or a similar ECU that is reprogrammed. The upgraded ECU requires Z31 disk (which has one wider slot at TDC) to run. The real upgrade is the ECU; The Z31 disk is just a requirement to the upgrade. Can you run a Z31 disk with L28ET ECU? I too am searching for that answer. If you successfully ran your L28ET with a Z31 dizzy disk, please let me know. Thanks
