Guest SouthGaZX
when i was setting my timing on the l-28 i mistaked the back cylinder as being #1 when it is actually #6 but then i think i read somewhere they both are on the compression stroke at the same time.. is my memory correct or am i just wrong. i did a search but i couldnt find the answer.. maybe i typed in the wrong keywords

Phyxius
are you sure about that? They are both at the same level in the cylinder, but if they were both on the compression stroke at the same time, that would mean both cylinders fired at the same time which isn't so. I believe #6 will be on the exhaust stroke while #1 is on it's compression stroke and vice versa
Mack
yup. it means you now have a distributor 180* out. you can either correct it the right way, or if your really lazy, you can just move all the plug wires around.
Guest SouthGaZX
lol well that sucks.. guess ill just fix it the right way.. sumbody already scratched the cylinder #'s into the distributor cap... thanks for the quick response.. maybe thats what they were saying.. they are at the same place in the cylinder.. because that makes more sense than them both firing at the same time
