Guest BoostedZ350
I have looked all over the internet, and in mags. I was wondering if anyone here has found a good source for complete assembled engines? I have found a couple engine makers on ebay selling 383/427hp engines for around $3,500. But I am always open for opinions. On a side note question. What are you guys doing for AC? I was wondering if it is possible to somehow match up a Chevy ac compressor to the Z32 ac system? Anyone ever tried this or what have you done with your conversion to have AC?
Lason
I would personally stay away from ebay motor builders. Im sure there are some decent ones on there but if your after a crate motor go for a GM crate motor. Also there is a thread in the misc section about someone putting a vintage air setup in their Z. Check it out for some good info but I have also heard about people using GM compressors and hooking it up to the stock a/c setup and having good results. SpeedRacer
I agree on steering clear of eBay rebuilders. Pace has great prices on GM crate motors http://www.paceparts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=
