georgiaz Posted March 14, 2006 Share Posted March 14, 2006 The only thing left to finish the Painless harness install is completing the wiper connections. For some reason the wipers only work when the headlights are on. I know the lights should be on when it's raining, but I want them to work like they are supposed to. The headlight circuit always has power, when you turn it on, it goes to ground to complete the circuit. It sounds like you have the wipers wired to have constant power too, and is grounded through the headlight circuit. You need to give the wipers a separate power, and ground.
