alsil
What's up! I'm doing a complete re-do of the brakes on a car I'm building, and I've been steered in the direction of a 280zx disc/240sx caliper/maxima caliper bracket swap. I wanted to find out: 1. If it is at least as good as the stock drums on my '71 2. if there is another swap. I can do the swap for less than $300, and it will not take any fabbing (besides bending brake tubes). What do you think? ------------------
randy 77zt
i have willwood calipers with billit brackits & 84 zx rotors on back of my 77z.this works on the track but it squeeks loudly all of the time, the maxima set up should work fine .if u use the car on the track get some porterfield or carbotech pads.if yuo just run on street get some good low dust pads.the race pads throw off lots of carbon dust -nasty wheels.
