JimR
My question is my 350 came with a 8.00 dampner for my swap I had to use I think a 7.25 one now my timing mark when the engine is running good dosent line up on the indecator is that because its smaller than the original one or could my cam gear be off one tooth . Like I said the engine runs fine . No misfires but it shows with timing light about 1.5 inch before the indecator thanks Jim
fastzcars
did you change the timing cover or the timing tabs. I seem to remember. there was a difference in the early pre 68, to later dampers. I think grumpyvette posted the differences. I'll have to look in my books to see if I can find that info.
