Guest Anonymous
Has anyone made a dual master setup for a Z that didn't require major surgery or attach to an extensive roll cage? Possible to keep the power assist with a dual master setup somehow? If not, is it as easy as buying a dual master pedal assembly and making it fit? Would anyone have an opinion on how sturdy the firewall is for such as application? ------------------ Morgan morgan@z31.com http://carfiche.com http://z31.com
Guest scca
generally you dont use PB with a race style setup -- you need the feel of the masters and besides they arent that hard to push when the bore sizes are correct. there are 2 ways to install. a full tilton pedal setup with firewall mount -- i sell these or you can weld up the hole in the firewall and mount 2 masters in front of the stock pedal. you will need a balance bar to weld into the pedal this is alot of work and IMO not needed for a street car. but i have done both in a Z.....(both race cars) one person didnt want to spend the $$ on a pedal assy. use a z32 master and make an adapter to convert the pattern the other way they are 1&1/8"? i think. ------------------ Mike http://www.fonebooth.com raceparts and brakeupgrades
