Guest Jim226
I know that this has prob been posted before but I have looked around and not found the exact answer I'm looking for. I currently own a later model 260z with an automatic transmission, I'm interested In swaping it out and putting an early 260z 4spd tranny in. Now I do have the parts car which has def. seen it's better days......But what exactly is required in doing the swap properly? Do I need to use the manual starter or not? and what else is required? I have the clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, pedal box, etc. I ask the question about the starter because the one thats on my parts car is really old and beat up looking and I doubt it works, but I have not tested it. Any help would be great I plan on doing the swap this summer and just want to be sure that I get everything required. If I missed anything please let me know.
