i did all this a while back though i'd show the process and options.

i already have the jig from the arms made before. the finished ones are all in cars so heres a "work in progress" this was to be a spare for the race car. hence the reason i made a jig for easy replacement.

Mikey,

i'm not telling you not to do it. the ones i make dont look like the round tube ones so its personal preference anyway..if thats what you want them to look like you would have to make them anyway. i figured this out when i had the red race Z which was over 2 years ago.

i posted these over a year ago on Zcar and had a few people interested and then let it slide. the feedback i got there was it was too radical for street use...

as for the rears i have only done one set and they were done with 2 heims as Simons? and the idea was just for toe.

if your looking to do it for your car spend the time to make a jig to get it perfect with repeatability and start with the rears and see how it works out. i have no jig for the rears and dont intend on making one. my convt is never gonna need it and i race a 510 now not a Z. the rears will require more thought to have a good system.

on a side note - if you look at the first post JJ? stated he saw mine on the car. so that tells you they were already in existence..

Mike, if you havent tried coleman products look them up.. the rod ends and round style threaded tubing are available from any race shop. Coleman seems to have reasonable prices. i have listed the prices for 3 classes of rod ends. port city/howe/ any large circle track dealer will have all these things.

for others who have considered making their own as well there is also a general duty rod for even less but thats for machinery and not automotive use. these are not teflon lined and usually have a brass impregnated insert.

they also have a very low load capability. just dont buy any from the local bearing supply house.......
