it seems like theres not many options for the 280z front. i like this style but its for the 240z. is there a way to make it fit into a 280? maybe some turn light adjustments? i would also want to fit the chrome bumper on there too. i have a 76 280 btw.

The only difference in the front ends visually is the bumper. Ditch the bumper and the heavy brackets/shock thingies and then bolt on a 240Z air dam. You'll have to fab your own brackets for a 240Z bumper if you choose to go the bumper route. Or you can do what my friend Auxilary did: use a 280 air dam and adapt some curvy, yet small, turn signal indicators from a motorcycle.

Basically, you are not stuck with a 280 front end...

pretty much anything from the 240z, 260z, and 280z, (not 280zx) are interchangable with some minor adjustments.

The 240z bumpers would need the 240z bumper brackets to work, or you can just make some. The turn signals would need a lower valance or a air damn for the 240z. The turn signals are going to cost $$ though.

If you look through the Victoria British catalog at the part numbers, you will notice that the front fender, headlight buckets, rocker panels, lower door skins and rear quarter panels (except for 2 + 2's) all have the same part numbers between all of the 70 - 78 240's, 260, and 280z's. Even the hoods are the same except for the 77 - 78 280z with the hood vents. So basiclly, they are all the same.

the 260-280z equivilant to teh 240z lower turn signal are the one in the grille. If you run a 240z grille and remove those turn signals, then I'm sure you will be fine. you still have the side blinkers.
