Guest Anonymous
I measured my rear strut housings, and they were 2 inches exactly, not 2.04 or 2.08 or anything like that. The diameter varied by a coupla thousandths of an inch along the housing, presumably due to the baked on finish..... Why is this? I want to buy mike's coil over parts, but want to ensure that they fit first! ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
Guest scca
morgan if your talking bout Mikellys sleeves they should fit your car. the sleeves i sell are 2.04 your strut is 2 or pretty close the .04 is for them to fit they arent a press fit. i'm assuming you got the 2.04 and 2.08 measurements from my site ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades. BLKMGK
Morgan - I've got SCCA's stuff for my 240 - fits like a glove. I'll have to grnd off the stock perch to get them low enough on the housing but it's no biggie. It's actually lot's easier than I expected it to be - adding brakes at the same time is making it a little more complicated though. No pics taken yet, sorry guys. Camera hasn't been cooperating lately (sigh). Update: Perches removed. I used a bench grinder, had them off in a jiffy! Sleeves slide right past, need to find some metal for a new support and have it welded on. Vroom!
