Ray
A freind of mine is parting a Q45, I am getting the rearend and half-shafts, what about the brakes??? Have you seen them and are they similar to the 300zxtt. I was also wondering about the 300zx n/a brakes how are they different from the turbo. BTW I bought some z32 turbo wheels and will let you know how they fit...
Guest scca
i believe the non TT cars are a cast iron calipers whereas a teh TT are alum. also the thickness of the rotors is wider on the TT. theyre a pain to fit. gotta mill the strut ears on the back side and make a billet bracket to mount the calipers to. its onmy convt but i would gladly sell them for the outlaw stuff ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades. Guest needwaymorespeed
the q 45 is a solid rear rotor the na and tt rear rotors are vented-same size for 19 90 anyway The q-45 has a sinle piston caliper both 300 zs have a double spot aluminum rear caliper. The rotor and calipers will bolt right up to a q-45 knuckle just bought these parts a month ago look in driveline forum under r230 rear end Curtis
