Guest Mike Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 Does anyone know of a good transmission shop in the SAN ANTONIO, TX area that can do a decent build of a 200-4R and swap it in place of a TH350? It needs to handle 400/400 plus an occasional 100 progressive shot of nitrous... without any fuss. I need the best price I can find too. I just bought this car and the seller lied through his teeth. In its present condition, I WAY overpaid and I have a lot to do to "bring it up to speed". ANOTHER OPTION... Is it feasible to use a FACTORY STOCK 200-4R if removed from a performance vehicle and with low miles? If so, WHICH VEHICLES should I look for? I know the Buick Grand National had a fairly good one, but I don't know what else. Will one from a Buick or other non-Chevy high performance vehicle BOLT DIRECTLY to this Gen1 350 SBC made in the late 60's? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
