I have a 260Z with a broken throttle cable and am wondering if there is an easy, reliable repair other than a complete cable replacement. I visited several auto parts stores and the only solution I found is a complete generic replacement cable. This is okay, but it means modifying the firewall bracket, a bit more work... and $65 tax included. I think the pics below tell the story well enough... Cable sleave is broken at the end...
